About This Unique Training at Sol Seek Yoga in Manhattan Beach…
Join us for a transformative two-weekend yoga teacher training designed to deepen your understanding of myofascial release and enhance your teaching for diverse populations. This program combines the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, anatomy, physiology, body movement, kinesiology, and Pilates, with an emphasis on the subtle body’s in-depth connection to overall wellness. This training will be led by Amanda Lee Murphy, L.Ac and co led by Ava Moreno.
Weekend One: Foundations & Self-Practice
• Explore the fundamentals of myofascial release and its practical techniques.
• Learn the interplay of stress, strain, and range of motion through an anatomical and trauma-informed lens.
• Gain insights from Traditional Chinese Medicine to better understand the body’s natural flow and healing potential.
• Develop a personal practice using these techniques, particularly within yin and restorative yoga frameworks.
Weekend Two: Teaching & Application
• Shift focus to teaching and assisting others, adapting techniques for all bodies and abilities.
• Learn to integrate myofascial release into various yoga styles, tailoring practices for athletes, elderly populations, and those with special needs.
• Build confidence in offering safe, supportive, and inclusive yoga experiences.
